Happy Snowman Shaker Card

Our sponsor this month is My Creative Scoop. I selected the image Happy-Snowman to use in our optional twist on Twisted Thursday, Shake Your Confetti!
I added some second generation snowflakes behind him and used the first generation stamping to cut out the sentiment from Paper Smooches set called Warm Hearts. The wood grain paper is from Stampin Up, and a sparkly bow and a few more of the shaker snowflakes were added for some more interest.

Copic Markers Used
Mindy, My Creative Scoop, has lots of Copic marker information, classes, and free digis like this little snowman. Do pay her a visit!

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

    1. Thanks, Katrina. I think I finally have making shaker cards under control. I used to always have shaker elements slipping out. Don't know what I've changed, but I'm glad that I'm not finding bits and pieces all over :)

  3. Happy New Year Jean!!! I finally made it here to check out your cards and stuff. And what an adorable card it is too. I love those little snowflakes falling all over the place around the snowman in your card. Very appropriate for the weather right now.

I ducked out of the Diva Challenge just after you did. I had way too much to do for Christmas and the Zen of Zentangle was missing in my tangles, so I took some time off. But I did make a beautiful afghan for my niece (in Tunisian Crochet) and a wonderful jacket sweater for my sister-in-law (they both loved their gifts). Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of them. But I had fun doing it. Now I'm making myself one of the sweaters because I liked it sooooo much. :-D And now I'm starting to do some more tangling too.

Sorry to take this so far off your topic here. But I wanted to see what you're doing. I'll look around a bit more. Looks like you're having fun. I'll be in touch again. Melena

    1. How lovely to hear from you, Melena! I really have stayed away from Zentangle. I think it's kind of like when you eat hot dogs every day for a week and suddenly don't ever want to see hot dogs again, LOL! I am enjoying what I am doing now, but who knows what will catch my attention in the future.
I have done a bit of Tunisian Crochet myself. It was one of those "ohh, shiny" things that struck me. I learned how to do it, bought all the hooks and books and then got distracted by something else. I really should pull it all out again one of these days.
I am always happy to go "off topic" with you, Melena. Sending best wishes to you for the New Year as well!
