Fall Leaves with Torn Edges and Twine

The optional twist this week over at The Outlawz, Twisted Thursday, is Torn Edges/Twine. Our generous sponsor this month is The Greeting Farm. Do pop over and see some of the wonderful products they have available for your crafting needs.
The paper with torn edges was created using shaving cream and Distress Inks. The leaves, from Sizzix, were cut from a printed paper and then rubbed with Distress inks and sprayed with Shimmer. The clear water droplets are Nuvo Drops.

Just for fun, here is another card that I made using those fall leaves, also with a shaving cream background. The embossed veins show up more clearly on a solid piece of paper.

Thanks so much for your visit.

Halloween Card

The optional twist this week over at The Outlawz, Twisted Thursday, is Charmed. Our generous sponsor this month is The Greeting Farm. Do pop over and see some of the wonderful products they have available for your crafting needs.
I purchased a set of Halloween dies from Peachy Cheap, did a light buff of white ink on the sides, and put them on top of a panel using Distress Oxides through a stencil from Hero Arts. I splattered with some Shimmer spray. The little kitty charm was silver, so I sprayed him black with my Copic airbrush.

Fall Greetings From the General Store

We are so lucky to have an image from Createful Hearts Digis for October over at The Outlawz Freebie Progressive Challenge. This image is called General Store and has such a nice inviting fall look to it.

I used Distress markers over an embossed folder from Darice, added a strip of yellow felt to the left side topped with a leaf from a Cuttlebug die cut (covered with Distress Inks and several Nuvo Drops in clear), and popped up the image. I added some clear gel pen over the windows and some Wink of Stella over the pumpkins. The fall greetings was created using my Minc and gold foil.
