Tiger Blooms with Tombow Markers

This month Twisted Thursday is happy to have Erica, Fun Stampers Journey, from papercraftinwitherica. Erica sent us each a lovely image to work with, some embellishments, and some papers. This week, our optional challenge is an Anything Goes. Since we used the same image for the month of challenges, I changed the coloring medium each week. This week, I colored the stamp with Tombow Markers then stamped. Then, the edges were gone over with some Distress Inks. The image is called Tiger Blooms and I used some of the lovely papers that Erica sent. I added a few accent pearls and burlap ribbon that has pearls.

Tiger Blooms in Prismacolors

This month Twisted Thursday is happy to have Erica, Fun Stampers Journey, from papercraftinwitherica. Erica sent us each a lovely image to work with, some embellishments, and some papers. So, here is another card using the image and butterfly. This week, our optional challenge is to put a ribbon on it.  I used Prismacolor pencil this week. The embossing folder was swiped with Distress Inks. And, the ribbon, Diamond Satin, comes from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The image is called Tiger Blooms and the butterflies are Cork Flutter. The cork circles are from my stash.

Smooches from a Prickly Pear in Watercolor

This months challenge from Three Amigos is actually Prickly Pear.  This started out as a Zentangle Inspired Art (ZIA) tile that I thought would fit this challenge perfectly. I tried to match the colors as closely as I could.
I actually drew the cactus myself since I didn't have any cactus stamps (yet, LOL). It is a prickly pear cactus, many of whom have lived in my various yards over the years here in the Phoenix area until I saw how quickly they multiplied!

The sentiment comes from Paper Smooches, Smooches.

Do take the time to pop over to see this new challenge group and join in the fun!

I used watercolor pencils to color the image and added a few dew drops. The sentiment came with the set.

Garden Blooms on a Bendy Card

The July Challenge for Paper Smooches is Anything Goes! My favorite kind of challenge. I saw this Jen Evers do this bendy card and just had to give it another try. This card went to my granddaughter for her birthday.

The pretty flowers are from a Paper Smooches die cutting set called Garden Blooms, the oval dies are from Paper Smooches, and the sentiment is from a PS set called Wake Up. The gingham paper comes from My Favorite Things.

Thanks for your visit, and I hope to see you again soon!
