Coral Corner Shaker Card

This month, the sponsor for Twisted Thursday, is Digistamps4Joy. This week is an anything goes! I selected Coral Corner and made it into a shaker card. I used an embossing folder and colored it with Distress Inks. I cut out a couple of the pieces that were left over from the center and flipped them over and colored with an orange ink. The bottom shell is popped up for dimension. Sentiment is from Tim Holtz Saying Stuff. A few sequins and some tiny beads finished the card.

I also used a Stampin Up window die and my favorite papers, Country Roads from The Paper Studio. The flowers were fussy cut and popped up on foam.

Cuppa Buttercups

Passionate Paper Creations has a contest going on over at Facebook using the new  PowerPoppy fall images. The full set, which I got, is now on sale. I selected Cuppa Buttercups to make my card. This time, I used my Prismacolor colored pencils. The cup is topped with Wink of Stella. The edges have some Distress inks. A Spellbinders die was used to make the little curve around the edge. The sentiment comes with the image. It made me smile as a dear friend used to always greet me that way :)
I added some matching papers on the inside and stamped a few little flowers using Pegstamps.

Pond Cassavova

This month, the sponsor for Twisted Thursday, is Digi Stamps 4 Joy. I used this cute little froggie image called Pond Cassanova.  Our optional twist is to use circles.
I made a circle shaped card and added the colored image on top with foam tape for dimension. The ribbon goes under the image to tie at the top. A white Signo pen was used to add some water movement and some Wink of Stella was added to the lily pads.

The background is a sunflower stamp from Stampendous that was embossed with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, heat set, and rubbed over with multiple colors of Distress Inks. Little mousie was dabbed with some Copic blender on a rag for texture, cut with Gina Marie Design dies, and popped up for interest. The flowers were made using a quilling die from Quilled Creations and sprayed with matching Copic marker using an air gun.
